What a Vasari Corridor visit costs
Ticket or tour: the decision that moves the number
Everything else is detail. A reserved entry ticket buys a timed slot into the Uffizi and a one-way walk through the corridor, with nobody talking to you. A guided product buys the same access plus a licensed guide, and guides are paid by the hour, so a small party costs more per head than a large one and a private party costs more again. One thing is worth saying plainly, because it changes how the money reads. The corridor was restored to bare architecture and reopened on 21 December 2024 with no paintings in it. There is nothing hanging on the walls to read a label off. That is the situation in which a guide earns a fee, and it is also why a bare ticket feels thin to some people and perfectly sufficient to others. What is genuinely extra
The corridor exit puts you into the Boboli Gardens, which sounds like a free garden visit and is not one. Entering the gardens proper normally needs a separate ticket and the exit route does not automatically include it. Check what your specific booking option says before you assume you have an afternoon in the garden.
The cloakroom is the other quiet cost, usually of time rather than money. Large bags, backpacks, luggage and umbrellas do not pass the security check and have to be left, and nobody budgets for the queue that creates. Private and very-small-group products are the expensive end of the range; the case for and against paying it is on private and small-group tours.
Compare the booking options inside a single product before you compare products. The same activity often sells a plain version and a version with an app, a tasting or a re-entry added, and the gap between those two lines is frequently smaller than the gap between two different operators.
How to read the live price
Open the option, set your date and party size, and read the total after the calendar loads. Two things move that total which people miss on a first pass: the participant type, because reduced and free-entitlement categories exist and are set by the museum rather than by the operator, and the booking option itself, since corridor access is an add-on choice rather than a default on several products.
